HCMUTE in VN and Tongmyong University set up the joint training program issuing Bachelor Degree under the “2+2” Korean track formula from December 17, 2013.

  • The training period is 4 years and is divided into 2 phases

    • Phase 1 (the first two years)
      • HCMUTE manages and organizes the teaching job of the joint training program. It is formed by the agreement of HCMUTE and TU for Automotive Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Machine Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering and Computer Engineering.
      • During the first two years at HCMUTE, students have to study Korean language to get TOPIK 3 or English to get IELTS 5.5. or over.
    • Phase 2 (the last two years)
      • Students will continue their studies at TU in Korea, which is based on the grades of major courses and Korean language or English, and the required number of credits. All class hours will proceed at TU academic standards and will be taught by professors of TU.
