Purpose of Tongmyoung Residential Living
Tongmyoung University's residential living is a place where students can enjoy the convenience of residing and dining. Furthermore, the goal of Tongmyoung residential living is to practice and apply the pillars of foundation focusing on the development of students' future leadership attributes through creativity, understanding and consideration.

- Dormitory's entrance door hours: 05:00-23:30 (Must have S/G access card)
- Operating Hours
- A) Rest Area, Fitness center, Shower facility, Laundry facility, Computer/Printing room, Seminar/Conference rooms, Mulitipurpose space : 05:00~23:00
- B) Reading/Study room : 24 hours a day
- C) Dining Hours : (Must have S/G card)
- - Weekdays: Breakfast 07:15~08:45, Dinner 17:30~19:00
- - Weekends : Breakfast 07:30~09:00, Dinner17:30~19:00
- Information on Facility Usage
- A) Rest area. Computer room : Must keep the area clean and neat and be considerate of others. You must bring your own printing papers if printing is needed.
- B) Reading/Study room : Must always be quiet and not monopolize seats.
- C) Kitchen: Refrigerator is for public usage, microwave oven is for heating only, cooking is prohibited in the kitchen(fire hazard), throw away food trash to designated food trash container
- D) Fitness center : After exercising, please put the equipments back to original place and be considerate of the next person showering.
- E) Laundry facility : washer: 1000won dryer: 500won Please read the direction carefully before use.
- F) Seminar/Conference rooms, Multipurpose space : These facilities are used for meeting/conference purposes only. And they must be reserved in advance before use.
- Hours for central heat (water/floor)
- hot water : 07:00~09:30, 12:00~13:00, 19:00~24:00
- heated floor : 18:00~19:30, 22:00~24:00, 03:00~05:00
- Internet Usage
- Must register the allowed IP following the protocol before using internet.
- Internet access available in computer rooms
- WIFI : WIFI is available in the following area: rest area in each floor and first floor lobby.
- Resident Regulations
- Information on sleeping out overnight : The maximum number allowed is 4 times with a 5 day maximum per request. If you need to exceed 5 days, you must contact the dormitory superintendent. Please visit the residential living homepage and/or contact the dormitory superintendent for requests.
- Trash separation: Please use the designated trash containers located in basement parking lot of each building.
- First Aid medicine : First Aid medicine is available in the administration office during weekdays and in the dormitory office on weeknights.
- You must bring your own bedding clothes including pillow and blankets. However, mattress cover is provided.
- Your residential S/G card is used for dining and entering the building/room; therefore, you must careful not to misplace your card. If lost, please visit the dormitory office and have it reissued for 7000won.
- Special Regulations
- 1) Smoking inside the dormitory building is prohibited by law.
- 2) Only registered visitors are allowed to enter.
- 3) Gambling, theft, alchohol disturbance, cooking(except building 3), inflammable items are prohibited in the dormitory.
- 4) Visitation to the floor and/or the room of the opposite sex is prohibited.
- Process of applying and checking out of the dormitory.
- 1) Applying for housing : submit application ->Review of application -> Notice of acceptance -> Housing payment(per semester) -> Check-in to assigned room after submitting a health check-up report and signing housing contract.
- 2) Check-Out: ubmit check-out request -> Perform check-out inventory of the room and return S/G card -> Check-out completed.
- -Dormitory fee: KRW1,900,000 ($1,400)
