Introduction to the Department
The Department of Architecture completed the BIM specialization program over the past five years through the support of the Ministry of Education's specialization project and established it in the curriculum. In the certification process, BIM was evaluated as a major feature and achievement of the training program. Along with this curriculum, the architectural design class in the Department of Architecture is a small group of 15 students, and 1:1 classes are held. It is equipped with facilities such as a design studio open 24 hours a day, a laser cutter, a 3D printer, and a BIM practice facility using a super computer, and has various opportunities such as holding a joint workshop in cooperation with Paris-Belleville University in France. In addition, four-year and five-year courses are run inside the Department of Architecture, allowing you to choose freely, expanding your career options. At the Korea Architecture Competition, the largest competition in Korea, students in the Department of Architecture were ranked 2nd in 2016, 1st in 2017, and were 3 out of 7 main award winners. In the contest, the department is uniquely winning the most awards every year. Based on this, students in the Department of Architecture are employed by the nation's top architectural firms.
