Main Library
Summary
Our university main library, built in March of 2008, is composed of 1 basement and 5 floors with total area 11,486.6㎡. The first floor consists of reading rooms and a librarian desk. The humanities & social science reference room is located on the third floor. The fourth and the fifth floor consist of reference rooms for the architectural engineering design and language literature respectively. Each floor has a main themed reference rooms and designated librarians in charge of service.

Book check-outs and returns
- In order to borrow library materials, first search for the item in the library home page and check its availability status. Find the material in the reference room.
- Take the item to be checked out to the any service desk with your student ID card.
- You must check your list of materials borrowed and return dates.
- Materials are available for borrowing only with own student ID card. (For new student before receiving the student card, personal ID card can be used for borrowing materials)
- You must return the material before the deadline and confirm the returning process on the monitor.
- In case of suspension, disenrollment, absence or graduation, you must return the materials before the deadline.
Using open reading room
- By using student ID (citizen membership) card, reserve your seats through seating assignment system.
- Only those who have made reservations can use the seats. Dishonest usage will limit the use of open reading rooms for a time period.
- If you want to prolong the usage time, you must do so within one hour of your expiration time.
- It will be helpful for other user if you return the seat when you leave before your using time.
- Outsiders need to have permission from main library to use the open reading room.
Library Service
- Copy and request material service: For the material that our library does not have, we can request the materials from other universities or institute or the copy of the original. We use RISS and NDSL sites for service and pay the usage fees,
- Article Search and provision service: Through electronic information search at the library home page, you can read domestic and international journals and articles.
- Request for the desired books: For books that are not in our circulation, you may request them through home page. It takes about 2 weeks for domestic books and about 1 month for international books.
- Using study room: Reference rooms on 3, 4, 5th floor have total of 12 study rooms with a maximum number of 8 people per room. You can use it by reserving the room at the homepage reservation site.
