Introduction to the Department

Overseas internship program in related social welfare centers : short or long term internship program provided. We produce practical talents such as social workers, youth instructors, school social workers, mental health social workers, and medical social workers. In the 4th year curriculum, students learn field experience through a long-term practical internship system, so that they gain an opportunity to read the needs and flows of the local community, and develop them as field experts who can be put into the field immediately after graduation. The internship system, which has been continuing since 2009, is currently divided into overseas internships and short- and long-term internships, which is a great advantage of the Department of Social Welfare at Tongmyong University, which enables you to become a preliminary field expert
